We Didn't Start the Fire

I BURN with excitement for our Saturday Scavenger Shots! That's right...AlienCG said the word and the word was BURN! There are a number of connotations for this word. I decided to go with a couple of reruns that seem to work well...

In this picture, you can see that some of my CDs are BURNed, rather than factory direct. 'Cause that's how I roll.

A lot of us are BURNing the candle at both ends. These only BURN at one. Often, I don't even BURN my candles. They sit around, they are pretty, and I sniff them once in a while. When my kids were small I got out of the habit of BURNing candles, because it was just too uncertain as to whether they were actually out of reach... Now I could, but I forget. 'Cause that's how I roll too.

Thanks for stopping by to feel the slow BURN of my blog. Don't forget to check with the Alien over at Swamp Gas & Moonlit Reflections to see who he is going to tag next :-) BURN, baby, BURN!

I'll have to post mine later today, but I loved yours. Especially the candles!

If it counts, I listened to the song "Ring of Fire" last night and one line reads, "And it burns, burns, burns...the ring of fire, the ring of fire." I'm sure that counts. ;)

Tara: Aren't candles great? I love them. And listening to Ring of Fire definitely counts!

Cricket: I feel pretty proud, because no one thinks of more ways to work a word than you do!

Churlita: I lack hot things in my life right now, but I can burn a CD with the best of them :-)

Mrs: Thank you! Can't wait to see what Churlita picks then...

NoRegrets: Thanks :-)
