You Won!

You just won the lottery! Congratulations. Financially, you are set for life. Since it is Wednesday there is just one thing left to do, you must now Choose and Defend what come next.

Will you....

Live a life of true and complete leisure?

Or will you....

Continue to do some sort of work, maybe something you love that doesn't pay well, or a business you've dreamed of?

Don't be shy...tell us! What would YOU do? Choose and Defend.

Mine would be a combination: to paint in exotic places.

I would live a life of luxury and philanthropy (or is that philandering?).

I would live a life of luxury but I still would start my own business.. Seeing as I would have the money to do both.. That's not cheating though is it?

I would live a life of leisure, but I'd still have to write and make stuff...I'd just have time to do that finally.

I will continue working...at my own bed n breakfast that I buy with my new wealth... on a tropical (but hurricane-free) island.

I've thought about what I would do if I won the lottery and although I probably wouldn't stay with the job I have now, I'd have to do something with my free time.

Cricket: Wouldn't that be great? So you would still create, but at your leisure.

AlienCG: Ah, I like that! A philanthropist (or philanderer...or philatelist for that matter...) I am going to put you down for leisure.

Mrs: That is absolutely not cheating! You could have your dream job :-)

Churlita: Even if you get wealthy, I'd hope you'd keep creating. I've never seen your painting, but your writing and photography are great!

Tara: Ooooh! A tropical B&B sounds great. If I won the lottery, I would book a nice long getaway there :-)

Everyone: This one was, understandably hard to count. Still,it looks like there are two who plan to open a business of their own and three who would not be idle, but look to a more leisurely path. I'd love some more votes...anyone else?
