Send Me a Letter, Drop Me a Line....

Do you know what day it is? That's right, kids, it is indeed Wednesday. Some people call it Hump Day (okay, I do too), but here it is Choose and Defend Wednesday! Play along. It isn't at all painful.

This week you are sitting around somewhere, no keyboard in front of you, and you are asked to write something. It doesn't matter what, just write dangit! Oh, but you will need something with which to write.

Would you like....

A Pencil?
Or would you prefer....

A Pen?

Choose and Defend this highly controversial choice! Um. Yeah.

I like the pen. First of all, I'm left-handed and the lead rubs off onto my hand. Also, ink just has a better look to it.

A pen fo' sho'. I use a pen as the outline to my drawings. Plus, a pencil is usually frowned upon at work, it's not definite like a pen.

Good question!

A pen is a great tool and I find I write better with a pen.. so a pen it is for me..

I so HATE pencils. I hate that they get dull. I hate the feeling of them on paper when they get dull, which is almost immediately. I can tolerate mechanical pencils, but given a choice, PEN.

I'm all about the pens. Pencils make that weird scratchy wound on the paper and that drives me crazy.

I guess for drawing though. I use a pencil.

Everyone: Wow, pencils are clearly way outclassed by pens in this week's challenge. In fact, it seems that a few people not only prefer pens, they actively dislike pencils! I admit that I like pens too, although now I feel kind of sorry for that old elementary school standby, the pencil. So six for pens and the pencils get no love...at least so far.

Dmarks: Yeah, you don't even want to know how I originally read that...did you do that on purpose? haha!
