Come to Me, My Pretties

I decided to take a quick look at my stat counter thingy to see how things are going. Meh. As always though, the most interesting thing is seeing how people stumble upon me with random word searches. As I've mentioned before, the most obvious and predominate words are "boring life" and variations thereof. One I especially liked was "boring wankers with high IQs". Yeah, you may just have come to the right place. Another one that seems to come up are variations on "clearing my mind". Perhaps reading one of my less interesting posts (like this one, perhaps?) could just leave the whole slate blissfully blank. It is like some sort of zen therapy and it is absolutely free! One of the more unusual searches was "home simpson donut drool". I know I have talked about each of those elements here at some point...maybe just not all in one post. Well, consider it done! Then there was one that was just baffling..."he his i my girls". Wow, I'd like to help, but I don't even know how to start. Okay, now I will finish off with a little "how to dance like jagger" and I think we can call this post a wrap! Thanks for stopping by, however you got here!

You are the second person tonight that has mentioned about searches and how they find your blog.. what I'm wondering is.. why they don't leave a comment? are they too shy?

Regardless you have a great blog and the world wouldn't be the same without you..

I love it when people who are obviously ESL, google song lyrics to get to my blog. I thought I screwed up song lyrics, but I'm not half as bad as the google searchers. The weirdest thing is all the people from other countries who google "Devil Walking Next to Me". Do you think they want the song, or do they want to know how to react to that situation?

Churlita - Lol!

I really need to go look at mine. Last time I looked it was pretty boring.

Mrs: Unoriginal yet again...why am I not surprised?
My guess is that they don't leave comments because they are mystified to find themselves here. :-)
And thanks for the kind words!

Churlita: I wouldn't even begin to second guess what is going through people's minds when they do their Google searches. People with spare time can dream up some strange stuff...

NoRegrets: I don't look at mine too often either. My blog isn't hit in high numbers and besides my faithful regulars the others who stumble upon it are mostly having "boring life" crises :-)

I am impressed. Churlita is indeed the first hit on that "One Night in Bangkok" lyric.

I love looking at the search terms. I've had some pretty bizarre ones with WordPress.

I saw a nasty phrase someone looked up for my blog. It was the first perverted thing I've seen in the search terms in a long time!

Lately, people have been finding my blog through various spellings of Pepe le Peu.

Dmarks: So Churlita is not so ungoogleable!

AlienCG: haha! I can only imagine :-)

Tara: I don't know how your blog would have shown up in any nasty searches! What you talkin' 'bout Google!
That's pretty funny. Pepe brings them in.
