Office Space

Peter Gibbons: Let me ask you something. When you come in on Monday and you're not feeling real well, does anyone ever say to you, "Sounds like someone has a case of the Mondays"?

Lawrence: No. No, man. Shit, no, man. I believe you'd get your ass kicked sayin' something like that, man.

Maybe I need to go work on a construction site or something, like Lawrence. I swear, I never had to deal with office stupidity the way I have here in the past few months.

I had such a nice relaxing weekend and I came in today feeling quite refreshed and prepared to make that feeling last out into the week. I like my job! I have always liked being here. The resolution didn't last long, as the warring factions wore me and my good intentions down alarmingly quickly. Buzz kill. And still four more days to get through....

The weekend was very nice though. I had plenty of good family time and me time and even some DR time. So there is that. And another weekend will be here eventually. Um...four more days. Yeah.

That's why I would love to work for myself. The only asshole I would have to deal with would be me. I do hope your week gets better.

Yay! to your wonderful weekend. I had a similar experience today... but my car was the buzz kill.

Keep your chin up and keep walking in that sunshine. You deserve it.

I love Office Space.

I always say that about my job, if they would just give me my work and leave me alone to do it, I'd be happy as a clam. It's just when people think they have to get in my face about stupid stuff that doesn't mean anything when I get annoyed.

Office Space rocks! Did you put a cover sheet on that TPS report?

Office personalities sometimes mix and make a noxious aroma. Bummer.

Have a better T-F!

The word is YARN, BTW.

Alas, sorry.

-"We hear you've been missing a lot of work lately!"

-"Well I wouldn't say I've been 'missing' it, Bob."

I came back from my vacation like you - feeling good, feeling kind of refreshed, and then found out that the work that should've been done by my coworkers hadn't been touched. On a good note, though, they didn't call me at all during my vacation.

AlienCG: I hope so too. And hey! Watch what you say about Alien!

Ananda: I guess we are forced to take the bad with the good, but sometimes I only feel up to the good :-) Thanks Ananda!

Churlita: That is it exactly. Just let me do my job and I'm good.

Crazy4Coens: Yeah, I'm gonna need you to come in Saturday, mmkay?
I've been spoiled up until now with good mixes.
Thanks! And thanks for an interesing word, I like it!

Pamela: Thank you.

Tara: Excuse me, I believe you have my stapler...

Wow...you are indispensable! Your work can only be done by you...special! I am glad to hear they didn't call though.

Office Space is the perfect movie. I also like their scheme to embezzle money and how the main character tries to justify and explain that it really isn't stealing. Hehe.

Hope the rest of your work week goes better!

Sebastien: Yes! Love it and people really do justify themselves like that in all sorts of instances.

So far, I see things steady as they go....
