Lying There Digging Through the Garbage in My Head

You will no doubt recognize this as my Saturday Scavenger Hunt post. See? It is Saturday! And here I am with my photos. This week's word, SCRAP, comes to us from the fun and fascinating Crazy4Coens over at Raising Sunny.

I'm afraid I have gone with the obvious sort of SCRAP up in here. It had to be done...I spend nine hours a day here in the library and as you will know there is always plenty of SCRAP paper lying around for your note taking and such. Here, take a look:

Here is SCRAP paper in a bin next to one of the printers. No sense in throwing it away because of a typo or worse. We recycle!

We like to turn big SCRAP paper into little bits of SCRAP paper. Goes better with the teeny golf pencils we like to strew about the building.

Big SCRAP is converted to little SCRAP with the help out our handy dandy papercutter! Scary, isn't it? Yes, of course I have cut myself on it a time or two. I'm special like that.

Thanks for being SCRAPpy enough to stop by and look at library SCRAP with me :-) Make sure you check in with Crazy4Coens to see who she is tagging for next week. Ah, ssssS-CRAP! Another week! haha!

Aaahhh... s crap! hehehehehehehe

I didn't think of paper scrap. Isn't it funny what avenue our individual minds select?

Nice post... funny as always. Great photos. I have a paper cutter just exactly like that one.

I love, absolutley love, library scrap paper. And those little pencils, too. Is that something you learn in library schoool? Is it a mafia thing where all libraries have to do it or else? I also love recycling paper - I try to do it all the time. Thank you so much for this post - and for saying that I am fun and fascinating - thanks thanks thanks!

Excellent examples of SCRAP. Recycling is always a good thing. Good job using your surroundings for this post.

Ananda: I am always, always interested to see the different ways our minds travel.
And ooohhhh...love that word choice! I will pass it on :-)

Crazy4Coens: I might get in trouble for disclosing this, but when you become a Librarian, or even just go to work in a library, you are required to sign an oath of allegiance...and you do it on a small scrap of paper using a tiny pencil. I can't say anything else.
Hey, you are definitely fun and fascinating...truth in advertising round here!

Dmarks: Thank you!

AlienCG: Thanks, Alien. I like recycling and I like sharing my environment with all y'all.

I have to ask, do you ever burn your scrap paper? Because that's the only logical thing to do!

Ohh I love our company's paper cutter! Once I found out how to use it so that it cut properly, I became a paper cutting fool.

I'm finally cooperating, sorry for the delay! Eek!

Love your scrap pics. Very scrappy.

Sebastien: I tend work against logic. I think that is why my scrap paper so seldom meets a fiery end.

Pamela: Some calls us crazy. Usually people who are familiar in some way with craziness.

Tara: I'm cooperatin'! (I keep hearing that line from Fargo)
Yeah, papercutting is pretty darn fun, I admit it.

Churlita: Thanks! Scrappy is good, as long as it's not Scrappy Doo.
