I Took Your Advice

As my photo illustration implies, I spent the weekend relaxing, as many of you urged me to do after my sad post-date experience. Thanks! I did have a very mellow weekend and I do feel good :-)

I would fill you in on all that I did, but it's not much...I watched tv, I read, on Sunday we had a family picnic in the park. The weather was beautiful all weekend, with the drizzles holding off politely until today.

I'm glad you got to relax during the weekend! I have a friend who went to Jamaica last month. She wasn't sure what to do at first, without having her five little kids around. But she adapted and got a nice tan. I want the warm weather to come, and once it does I want to go on a picnic like you and your family did! That sounds so nice.

Sorry I have been so MIA and didn't read your date story, but I am glad you had such a relaxing weekend to recover.

What a great idea. I've been loving my super relaxing Friday nights. I'm hoping this weekend that I can stay home both nights.

Tara: Oh, that is so nice for your friend. I could have used a trip like that, especially when my kids were small. Hey, I still could! I could adjust! :-)
I always love a picnic and nice weather always makes me feel better too.

MrManuel: You didn't miss much. Just me being a dweeb. I'm glad to see you around though!

Churlita: If my kids had a more consistant schedule, I'd be much more likely not to just hang out on both Friday and Saturday nights. Sometimes it is just what I need though.

NoRegrets: Which guy did you meet? Zupan? He was extremely cute.

AlienCG: You have at least been very good about having a solid structure to your days. That entitles you to weekend relaxation. :-)

Hey! I actually posted what the new word would be in Alien's post, and asked him to post what I chose, but he may have overlooked it. The word is "change." I will also put it on my blog tonight and actually post some pictures this time. I need to get back into the spirit of this thing.
