My New Home (Now With 50% More Photograph-y Goodness!)

Thanks to everyone for your comments and suggestions on what to post. I have chosen to take your advice and make this post chock full of photos of my new home. As always, I apologize for the quality of the photos. I don't have a digital camera...I have my phone, which also takes pictures. It is a nice feature for a phone, but the picture quality can be a bit iffy. So, if you are willing to overlook that, I am willing to provide the following for your viewing pleasure....

Welcome.

To your right, please note my lovely, stuffed bookcase.

Oh look! It is my new corner group. The perfect solution for space issues. You have your seating...

...and then, when your long day is done, you have your little virginal looking bed. It is quite comfortable.

Here is Girlieland. My daughter has the bedroom and she keeps it how she likes it. You could call it messy or comfortable! She was very happy when the internet was activated yesterday

Need to freshen up? Go on in. You can see the shower curtain reflected in the mirror over the sink. Looks like a poster or something, doesn't it?

Finally, help yourself to a bit of chow from my new refrigerator. Both the fridge and the food were mostly provided by my dad and step-mom.

Have a seat at my cute, little kitchen table!

And that, friends, is my new home! I am starting to love it. It is starting to feel like home. Girlie Girl thinks so too. Thanks for stopping by for the tour. I hope you guys like it too.

Oh that is so awesome! I did think that was a poster of your bathroom sink! That's a cheerful shower curtain, I like that.

It'll feel more and more like home to both of you, but I'm glad it's getting that way already!

You know...you could start a housewarming registry at Target or some other store..Hmm!!

Tara: I'm glad you like it. That makse me feel good :-)
I bet I could get some loot if I spread the word I had a housewarming registry, but honestly...I have no room for loot! haha!

NoRegrets: Those things hold a special place in my heart too! Or maybe in my stomache...

Churlita: Thanks! The girly vibe is mostly due to my daughter and her many grooming products and such. The more austere areas reflect me :-) But, yeah, it does feel like a sanctuary for sure.

New place is looking like it is all set already. I like the "virginal bed" photo that is all bathed in very white, innocent looking light.

Home is where the heart is and I'm pretty sure you both took your hearts with you!
It looks lovely and I bet it's unrecognisable in a week or two once you get bedded in properly!
I love the dining table...
Home Sweet Home! Love it!

AlienCG: Thank you so much. It's what I am hoping for.

Evil-E: I like to get right in a settled.
The bed is going to be the most innocent bed ever, I suspect...

Daffy: Thanks very much. It probably won't change too much, as I am not a terribly decorating type person, but it certainly could get messier...

haha! I'm a neat freak so 'messier' un-nerves me slightly... Yes you have guessed... I am one of those people who gets to front door then runs back to move an object, plump a cushion or centralise a vase! Sad but true!
It does look great Laura!
