I've Been Hit Enough to Know Why

Welcome to Choose and Defend Wednesday!  How about indulging in a little risky behavior here at Fresh Hell?  For me, either of these choices would be a fresh hell.  Maybe for you too...or maybe they both look like a little slice of heaven!   Either way, if you were compelled to do one of these things, which one would you Choose?  Please feel free to Defend your choice with as much force as you can muster up :-)

Will you  be...

Deep Sea Diving

OR

Sky Diving

Choose and Defend and have a great day!

Yikes to both! I am a huge chicken. If I absolutely could not avoid doing one or the other... I'd opt for the deep sea diving. At least I know I can swim... but I'd drop like a rock no matter how hard I flapped my arms if my shute failed.

Easy, I am afraid of heights so I would HAVE to go with deep sea even though I wouldn't want to do that either.

Oooo! I would love to go deep sea diving. I'm much more of a visual stimulation kind of a guy (as opposed to an adrenaline junkie.) But I did just start watching the mini-series "Surface" which is about sea monsters, so...

And btw, I've started blogging again. Come check it out!

I am really not a risk-taker - not physical risks, anyway. Diving, only because falling through the sky scares me more. But couldn't I just go snorkeling, please?

I'm with Secret Agent! Snorkeling! (If you made me choose - it would be deep sea diving - but really -snorkeling would be much better!)

I'm not much of a water guy, and I would love to jump out of an airplane (provided I do have a parachute). There would be nothing like the feeling of falling toward earth. SKYDIVING is my final answer.

I'm not a great swimmer.. nor am I good at heights.. But I would pick Skydiving.. it looks like it would cure my fear of heights..

Both seem a little freaky to me - I could imagine both activities going awry.

I'll choose deep sea diving, though, for my final answer....I think....I have a feared respect for water, but it would be an adventure to be able to swim with the sea animals - maybe take some photos (with a waterproof camera, of course).

Ananda: I like your reasoning here. It makes good sense to me :-) One for Deep Sea Diving.

MrManuel: This choice seems impossible to me. Two for Deep Sea Diving.

KenV: Glad to see you blogging again! I like the way your mind works here. Three for Deep Sea Diving (no sea monsters edition)

Secret: This is a tough one, but not snorkling :-D Four for Deep Sea Diving.

C4C: I feel your pain, but see above :-) Five for Deep Sea Diving.

AlienCG: Ah, finally someone who wants to fly! With a parachute, of course. One for Sky Diving.

Mrs: I like your attitude! Face your fears, right? Two for Sky Diving.

Tara: Good thinking here. You could definitely take more pictures deep sea diving than sky diving. Six for Deep Sea Diving.

Everyone: Interesting! We are clearly not a group of people all that interested in physically risky behavior. Right now, it is 6-2 for Deep Sea Diving, the apparent lesser of two evils. If you haven't said your piece yet, it isn't to late. Choose and Defend!

I would go for sky diving because if I had to conquer a fear that would be the greater one for me. Afterwards, I could dine out on the fact of conquering the demon for years!

Deep sea diving. I'm a water girl. I have a lot of friends who go diving every year and their photos and videos of it are amazing.

FW: haha! I hadn't thought of how the brag factor might make it more worthwhile. Excellent. Three for Sky Diving.

Churlita: Sounds like something you'd actually enjoy. I hope you'll get to do it someday! Seven for Deep Sea Diving.

Everyone: Now we have 7 for Deep Sea Diving and 3 for Sky Diving. I'm enjoying everyone's defenses very much! Any more?

Um, as you know, have done both. But given a choice, I'd like to go underwater again. Not sure I will due to my ears, but would like to...

Hope allis well!

NoRegrets: Oh, I'm so happy to see the daredevil of the gang turn up! You know how I stand in ridiculous awe of your daring deeds. And in spite of your ears, you make Eight for Deep Sea Diving :-)

I know that NoRegrets commented here too, that she has done both! My hero, totally :-) And Blogger loved the comment so much it kept it all for itself.

And there you are again NoRegrets. Blogger is such a scamp. In any event, you are Eight for Deep Sea Diving :-)
