But It's As Real As the Feelings I Feel

Time for some Talk Talk Tuesday here at Fresh Hell.   I am really enjoying the book version of The Princess Bride, so here is your Talk Talk for today -

This is my favorite book in all the world, though I have never read it.
"Has it got any sports in it?"
"Fencing. Fighting. Torture. Poison. True love. Hate. Revenge. Giants. Hunters. Bad men. Good men. Beautifulest ladies. Snakes. Spiders. Beasts of all natures and descriptions. Pain. Death. Brave men. Coward men. Strongest men. Chases. Escapes. Lies. Truths. Passion. Miracles."
-The Princess Bride: S. Morgenstern's Classic Tale of True Love and High Adventure
by William Goldman

Heard any stories about any of the things listed above lately?  Talk Talk!

Randy told me a story... well he tells stories all the time. Anyway this one goes...
I was fishing in a river where some scuba divers were practicing a ways down stream. All of the sudden I had a fish on... and he was a fighter. I must have fought him at least half an hour and my arms were getting tired...then the line seemed to snag.
As luck would have it the divers were walking up the bank toward me. I asked one if he would go see what my line was snagged on... I did not want to lose that fish. One fella agreed... dove in and came back up.
"Hey... you've got a hell of catfish on!" he shouted. "Well what's the line snagged on? Can you get it loose?"
"Well... he's hiding inside an old car." the diver shouted back.
"Well dive back down and shoo him out!"
"I tried but he keeps rolling the window up!"

This one is hard. I can't think of a single story. If I could, it would fit in that list.

That's a heck of a list....

Loved the movie, listened to the book. Enjoy your book club!

Ananda: hee hee! Thank you, and thank Randy for me. That is quite a fish tale :-)

C4C: That's okay...you are welcome to come by without any yarn spinning required.

Churlita: Same for me! I'm racing through it :-)
