I Love You For Your Pink Cadillac

Hola amigos!  Feliz Cinco de Mayo and welcome to Choose and Defend Wednesday...or as they might say South of the Border,  Elegir y Defender Miercoles.  Let's get to it.  I'll be honest, I have my car on my mind.  WTG is checking it out for me as it has been sounding weird.  Turns out it is the timing chain.  Still figuring out how I am going to handle it.  Luckily, he is letting me use his van while it is being worked out.  Anyway, so...cars!

If money, and basically everything else, were no object, what kind of car would you want?

Giant Fancy SUV
OR

Small Fast Sports Car
This is a very general choice, but still, you can make it!    Then, in your defense, feel free to get more specific about your dream car.  Go crazy.  The sky is the limit!  Choose and Defend!  Gracias.

Small sports car, no question. Those SUV's are earth-destroyers. But I'd prefer my sports car to be something cute like a bug-eyed Sprite or a Porshe Boxster.

Giant SUV - an Earth-friendly hybrid of course, Secret Agent Woman. :)

I know I'd need a step ladder to get into one, but it would be nice to drive something that can handle ice and snow.

And...a timing chain? I've never heard of that one. Hope it's affordable to replace! How bout a car that mends itself?

I'd be more into an SUV'ish car. I love my Subaru station wagon. It has all-wheel drive and that's great in the Winter. Plus, I like to camp and I need to be able to take my bike with me too.

Those hybrid SUVs are better than the non-hybrids, but still get lousy gas mileage. They are what I think of as pseudo-eco friendly choices.

I would have to go with something a little more practical.. Having a fancy schmancy car wouldn't be ideal.. But it would still be nice for tooling around town.. SUV wouldn't be practical either, but I would go with that.. it has lots of room for all the shopping you could do with all the money leftover..

give me a small fast sports car. Maybe of an older vintage, like the coupe mercedes from the early 60s or a gullwing mercedes. Nice..
