Friday 5 - Face Dance Tonight

I was all, huh?, when I saw the title of this week's Friday 5.  Does this mean we don't find Pete Townsend a little creepy anymore?  Okay!  Um.  Anyway, here we go.  As always, playing along is encouraged, as are comments of any sort.

                      1. How’s your poker face?  Disgraceful.  I have no poker face and people can always seem to tell when I am trying to hide something.  Dagnabit.

                      2. When were you last red-faced?  Yesterday when one of my co-workers joked that I seemed so happy lately that I must be, uh...well, I am too red-faced to quote her exactly.  But I was amused to be accused of being, let us say, well cared for.

                      3. When will it be time for you to face the music?  I guess after I once again do something I could be called out on.  Right now, nothing pending that I am aware of.

                      4. What’s an issue about which you’ve done an about-face?   I tend not to do about-faces on issues once I form an opinion.  That isn't to say I am inflexible, or can't be persuaded to see things another way.  It is just that I would probably come around to a smaller degree than a complete 180°.

                      5. Who’s overdue for some face-time with you?  I'd have to go with my second oldest son, Secret Agent Man.  He wasn't given that name casually, believe me.  He's a hard man to pin down.

                      Here's a cutie face for you :-)

Stand in the place where you live..now face North.  Hope you are all facing your weekend with thoughts of fun and relaxation!

I have a really good poker face when I'm playing poker with my family - why? Because I have no idea what I'm looking at, so I don't know if I have a good hand or not.

As for having a poker face in real life, mine comes and goes. :)

My daughter joked with me recently "How do you upset Lady Gaga?....Poke her face!"

Tara: If I were actually playing poker, I wouldn't know either :-)

Mrs: I laugh too, or look guilty or give something away. sigh.

FW: hee hee! That's cute, I like a girl with a sense of humor!

OMG! what a little angel, so adorable.

Use the spirit of the bear when you play poker, then you will have a good poker face. Well... maybe not, but you'll probably maul everybody and steal the winnings. Either way, things work out.

Sebastien: She is a little devil who looks like an angel :-)
That is a great suggestion! And, as you say, you really can't go wrong in any event. Thanks!

I have no poker face either, but I'm often red in the face. Damn my ruddy Irish complexion!

I have had friends tell me that they can't look at me when someone else says something stupid because my reaction is all over my face. And someone else recently commented about watching a quick series of reactions run over my face. SO I guess I have ZEO ability to be poker-faced.

Secret: ha! I can just picture your friends studiously NOT looking at you. There is lots to be said for an expressive face I think.
