Let's Rock, Man.

Time to play....Choose and Defend! Who's it gonna be? If you had to choose...and you really, really do, who is superior and why?

The Beatles?

Or The Rolling Stones?

Choose and Defend! Please. Thank you.

This one is a no-brainer for me. Though the Beatles do have some excellent songs and they did go though quite a metamorphosis in the late 60s, the Stones blow them away in my eyes.

To me Elvis and the Rolling Stones are the definition of rock n roll. I have about 20 Stones songs in the iPod including "Sympathy for the Devil", "Play with Fire", "Mother's Little Helper"....great band pre-1980.

Jeez, I don't know..I'd say the Rolling Stones for "Sympathy for the Devil" and The Beatles for "Michelle". There's something alluring about the Stones. They're like walking mummies now, but they don't look like bobbleheads when they sing songs. I choose The Rolling Stones.

I've got to say the Beatles, but this choice does not come easy.

I'm going to avoid the question and just go with The Who.

Look up the song "Beatles and The Stones" by The House of Love for for some insteresting lyrics.

Again, they're like apples and oranges. I love certain songs from both and have winced at songs from both as well.

I was going to say The Beatles, as they have 20 or 30 or more songs I like, and the Stones only have 5 or so.

But then I saw MiniJonB's comment, and I am going to go for The Who.

Everyone: Thanks for playing and for your choices, which should some real thought went into them!

As it stands, we have 2 choosing the Rolling Stones, 1 Alien 4 Beatles, 2 initiating a write-in campaign on behalf of The Who...plus Churlita, who likes both apples and oranges!

And you can put me down for The Beatles. They didn't have the longetivity of the Stones, but to me they are the heart of so much of the music that we hear today. I adore them.

Rolling Stones. Most of them are not dead. Just kidding - I just think their music is much more diverse.

NoRegrets: haha! Don't be hatin' on the dead! Or The Dead for that matter....
Okay, one more for the Stones :-)
