Maybe I'll Do This Every Wednesday!

Choose. And if you can, defend your choice.

The Brady Bunch?
or
The Partridge Family?

Choose and defend! Thank you :-)

That is a hard choice to make, considering I never grew up in that type of enviroment.. But I would have to say The Brady Bunch..
Why? because I have been in a relationship where the kids were not mine but I grew to love each of them.. As they grow into adulthood I can say I had something to do with their upbringing..I think The Brady Bunch as corny as it was at that time, they instilled something in me that I didn't learn at home.. accept things at face value.. That's what I did when it ccame to me being involved with someone that had kids.. althought the situations are quite different between the show and real life.. it still made me think that I shouldn't shy away from something as challenging as being an instant parent.. if this makes any sense to you...

That's so hard. When I was a kid, I loved them both. I don't know if I can choose one over the other, it would feel like betraying a part of my childhood.

Brady Bunch by default. I have never seen an episode of the Partridge Family.

Well, since I have to pick one, I will say The Brady Bunch since I've never seen the Partridge Family either.

Also, The Partridge Family loses points for that damn song, C'mon Get Happy.

The Brady Bunch, the only reason being that it's easier to get their theme song stuck in my head.

Mrs HW: What you are saying makes perfect sense! You and the Brady's both did the blended families thing and made it work :-) I love that.

Evil-E and AlienCG: Never seen an episode of the Partridge Family? Get thee to Hulu! hee hee!

Tara: It is an extremely catchy theme song. Did you prefer the early version by Peppermint Trolley or the later Brady kids version?

MrManuel: Not a Laurie fan, eh? ;-)

Churlita: I almost missed you here in my quest to get the EvilAlien brothers to get happy!

You are compassionate, not wanting any of your childhood memories to feel dissed :-)

Brady Bunch hands down.

They had 3 kids of each sex set up for 3 different age demographics to fall for. Brilliant teen magazine fodder. Plus all the behind the scenes dirt.

I preferred the later one done by the zany Brady kids. ;)

wavemancali: Good point. I was the right age to be in love with Peter. Danny Partridge was not my type...

Tara: Yes, me too :-D
