My personal life is all topsy turvy right now, but that is depressing to talk about...so instead I will focus on the world of entertainment as it pertains to me, a simple minded ol' gal.
Two of my favorite relaxing and funny shows have just ended.
On Tuesday, Olympic medalist Kristi Yamaguchi and her professional partner, Mark Ballas, won the giant mirror ball trophy on Dancing with the Stars. Girl power, Kristi! haha!
Last night, David Cook won American Idol. I never really got on board with him, because of his weird combover hair and smug demeanor...but he's a good singer and I prefered him to little David Archuleta, who all season seemed to be The Chosen One.
I would fear some sort of withdrawal, but fortunately tonight is the premiere of....So You Think You Can Dance!
Don't worry, I know most of you think I am a bit retarded for watching these shows...I understand :-) Instead of telling me that, perhaps in comments you could tell me about your favorite show and a little something that you love best about it. Thanks!

*daffy runs over to Lauras' place all exited*
Laura, Laura! I'm so excited! It's the final of Dancing with Stars on Saturday night! I can't wait to see who w... oh. Right. I see. Kristi Yamaguchi wins. Aw well, that's ok. That's ok because I still have Amercian Idol to look forward to on Sunday! YAY! *dances around* *stops dancing* Oh. He wins does he. Great.
So, I wonder what I can do this weekend instead of watching American Reality programmes!
.
Americas' Next Top Model Baby! That is the Daddy! Or should I say, Mammy?
I love stupid TV when I'm in the mood for it. My favorite show was Wife Swap, but I haven't seen it over a year. I suppose it's a good sign.
I'm a MythBusters fan. I'm a big fan of Discovery Channel.
I'm not going to make fun of you for liking these shows, you are beyond help.
when it comes to reality, I really just watch Survivor. Been an addict since day 1 of that show. I have even applied ot be on the show
I have actually become addicted to Top Chef on Bravo. The ego clashes between the chefs make the show...that and the harsh criticisms.
Daffy: Are you serious? I ruined the finales of two shows for you? I really need to find a way to be more considerate of my international readers! Please accept my apologies.
Churlita: I am proud of your move away from Wife Swap...although it can be pretty amusing.
AlienCG: I like MythBusters and Discovery Channel too!
I'm not sure whether to thank you for understanding or feel offended that you don't think I can be saved. haha!
MrManuel: Survivor is sort of the standard bearer for reality shows in some ways. They should totally put you on there!
Evil-E: I used to be very into the original Iron Chef...the Japanese version. The Americanized version is just not as fun somehow.
Right now its Lost - b/c its lost. Hello?
And House - cause Hugh Laurie is fantastic as a meanie.
Viki: I might try and watch Lost on DVD, so that I can just stick with the intricate plot.
I LOVE House. Did you see the season finale yet? omg.
I'll send you some WARNING SPOILER tickets to slap on the post. :o)
It's ok, I like anti-climax... I'll not tell the kids and they will think I am so smart. (Or that my lovely friend from way over the pond told me.)
Hope you are feeling a little better today. Do something that always makes you smile this weekend.
I agree with so many of these shows. House's last two weeks were amazing, I was so happy with Dancing with the Stars, and I am so wonderfully confused by Lost. I have a little TV addiction problem.
Daffy: I forget that anyone besides me even watches these shows, as I take so much guff! I will "spoiler warn" you in the future ;-)
Dinah: I tell myself there are much worse addictions and forgive myself daily. House was soooo good! I can't wait for next season. And Grey's Anatomy anyone? OMG.
