Another Post About Iron Man

Everyone who went to see Iron Man this weekend is blogging about it. Just here to add to the kudos. I actually only went because Handsome Lad really wanted to see it. So I took him and Girlie Girl, and we met up with Kick Back Dude and Princess Diva. I was not at all against going, mainly because I tend to love Robert Downey Jr's work. He may have had his problems, but the man can act. And here, in Iron Man, I give him mad props. I know next to nothing about any comic book characters, including Iron Man, but I have read from people in the know that he is the perfect Tony Stark. Since I am incredibly shallow, above all else, I just wanted to make sure to acknowledge the fact that not only did RDJ do good work...he looked fabulous! All muscular, but in a totally reasonable way...not all bulky and gross.Save me, Iron Man!

And a very happy Cinco de Mayo to all! Olé!

I will probably end up seeing it. I never care about an actor's life..I just want them to do their little job and entertain me.

Evil-E: I agree. Do the whole tortured artist thing if you must, but entertain me!

AlienCG: Yes, you should give it a look if you get the chance.

I am so happy that everyone is loving it, especially non comic people like you. That is important. My wife also though RDJ looked pretty good on the movie.

Mmmm. I like a man with nice arms. I've already commented on the movie on enough blogs, I thought I'd just be shallow on this one. I hope you don't mind.

I want to see this film, I just like superhero themed films. My wife wants to see this film too, she just wants to see RDJ.

MrManuel: Yes, there are some people who are automatically going to be fans...this one will get stragglers, for sure.

MiniJonB: Bold move ;-)

Churlita: I appreciate the shallow! No need to get into technical stuff for my sake :-)

FW: There will be something for everyone in this film!

Oops, happy belated Cinco de Mayo to you too!

I really admire Robert Downey Jr. for getting through all his troubles. He's such a talented actor, it would've been so sad to waste it.

I am so jealous you got to go see it. I'm the one agitating about it in my household, and so far, I'm outnumbered.

I'll probably end up going to see it at a housewives matinee, and how loserish will that feel? Very.

Tara: Gracias!
I admire him too..and not only in a shallow way! He seems to have pulled himself together and not everyone does.

Poppy: Loserish? No way! You go to your matinee, get your snack on, and enjoy the Iron Man!
