Because Tara Reminded Me. Thanks! (Thanks for the title box tip too! It worked!)

Like many other people in the world, I forgot to post a door knob picture on door knob picture day...and I really love posting pictures, so here it is!

Let me tell you a bit about this door knob. It is on the door between our office and the copy room. I touch it daily... many times each day. The door is actually open most of the time, but I often need to touch the door knob so that I can close the door at least slightly so that I can actually get to the black and white copier that lives behind the door. Why did they put such a heavily used piece of equipment in such a weird place? I don't know. They can go on and on about outlets and this and that, but behind a door is no place for nice people to have to wedge themselves several times a day.
Oh, I see I sort of got off the door knob and onto the copier. Apologies all around, but I'm sure you understand how these things happen...

I was interested in the hanging beaded necklace...

FW: See how I left that out? Those were made at a program about four years ago by a couple of kids. They gave them to me after the program and I tied them together, draped them over the door handle, and there they hang to this day :-)

Another important nabob of the working world who has her own door. I am jealous now. I think I will make me a door for my little cubicle.

Don't misunderstand, E. It is an office and there is a door, but there are also cubicles involved. People can spot my cubicle because it is the most, um, creative!

You're right, putting a popular copier right behind a door is not ergonomically logical. Oh and I'm glad the title advice worked! It was so irritating the other day, but I finally found the way.

And thanks for posting your doorknob picture! Your doorknob looks like my office doorknob. I like the bead thing around yours though! (how weird, part of my word verification has the word "beads" in it! Whoa! Freaky. :)

Tara: I noticed our similar pod doorknobs too.
I like it when the word verifications contain, or are, actual words :-)
