One of my all time favorite bloggers, Alien Coffeeground @ Swamp Gas & Moonlit Reflections choose this week's Saturday Scavenger Hunt word. The word is KEEP. I'll admit, it had me a bit flummoxed. How to portray KEEP? Mostly, for me, KEEP has positive connotations. It reminds me of safety and security. Maybe in the wrong hands KEEP becomes oppressive...but where I am in my life now, KEEP feels good. And I want to KEEP it that way. Check it out, y'all.
You can KEEP cool on the hottest days.
You can KEEP dry in the wettest weather.
KEEP your family close. It feels good.
Hey...KEEP it clean, buddy!
Through it all, the world's gonna KEEP on spinning and you are just along for the ride. Might as well KEEP on enjoying it.
Hope I didn't KEEP you from anything more important...but what could that possibly be? I just can't imagine :-)
Check in with the Alien and see who he tags for next week's game. Let's KEEP on playing...4-ev-R.

My favorite pic is of sweetie in the store with her umbrella open. Usually an open umbrella in an inside place is a bad thing, but with her, well, it's totally awesome!
You know, speaking of keep... I tend to have problems with that word. I meet a nice girl, and after 20 minutes of talking and falling in love, I tell her, with a crazy gleam in my eye: "I want to keep you, keep you forever and ever." The average reaction of the girl is to slowly back away from me, as she smiles and nods, slowly fading away...
As you can guess, things don't usually work out in my dating life ;)
Oh this is too fun, my word verification is matedcat. Too funny.
Please note that the word verification was not matedbear! I know you always make the mistake of thinking cats and lions are bears. Silly you :)
I love all of this... including Sebastien's comments. Great post laura b!
I used to love spinny chairs when I was young. Now, alas, no. Great photos and you got it all covered.
Poor Sebastien... Let's all give him dating tips!
Sebastien: Miss Personality gets away with everything. I once saw her walk under a ladder as a black cat crossed her path...then she broke a mirror. It was awesome.
As for those girls, hey, you just need to make them understand. Some alone time with you...say, locked in your closet? That could do the trick.
Thanks for clearing up the bear / cat thing for me. I am easily confus-ed. It's humiliating.
Ananda: Thanks, Girl! To me, at LEAST half the fun of a blog is reading the comments from you guys.
Pamela: Yeah, I don't do spinny so well. I'm glad you liked my photos though.
Maybe that could be some kind of feature...Dating Tips for the Criminally Hilarious :-)
All superb examples for this week's word. It's a good thing that Miss Personality is not superstitious. Thanks for sharing.
Ack, what happened to my comment? I thought I posted something for this one. Anyway, you always post the best shots. I love that last one where it definitely looks like the world keeps spinning!
AlienCG: Thanks :-) Yeah, as a group, we aren't particularly superstitious. Open up that umbrella-ella-ella.
Tara: Aw! I have had comments vanish too, I swear.
Aw, I'm glad you like my pictures. They are poorly shot, but I always hope they are at least fun.
I get dizzy just looking at that one :-)
I love that last photo. It actually made me dizzy. Great "keep" shots.
Churlita: Thanks...me too :-)
