It is that time of year again...season finales galore. Of course with tv being scheduled the way it is nowadays there will be new shows coming on to replace them. It isn't like the bad old days of a whole summer of pure reruns and stuff like Circus of the Stars...
Anyway, tonight it is the season finale of Gray's Anatomy. Girlie Girl and I are so excited to watch it and cry. Next week both American Idol and Dancing with the Stars (do you ever read my column?>>>>>>) end. :-( Sad face. But luckily, So You Think You Can Dance begins!
Life is wonderful when you are a simpleton like me. Let me go with that... for me, a simple pleasure of life is these tv shows that engage and entertain me. Tell me about your favorite simple pleasure. I'm sure they'll be a little less simple than mine...uplift me! What's your pleasure?

My simple pleasures are pretty simple... comic books, books and music. I could live without TV, though I do watch Heroes, Breaking Bad and Lost. Hummmm... not very realistic shows. I don't think I like reality all that much. ha. I don't watch dance shows, but I lock myself in the bathroom and dance like a fool to music I like sometimes for hours at a time. I am easily amused.
Tv's is purpose is to be there when we're all too tired and stupid do anything but stare. We all have our favorite cheese. I don't watch Grey's anymore, just because I'm never home on Thursday nights. I do like to catch Wife Swap every now and again. Talk about a simple pleasure.
Well a recent simple pleasure was buying "Underworld 3: Rise of the Lycans" the first day it was released here on DVD. I had a glass of wine, a bowl of popcorn and just sat and watched that movie. It was soooo nice.
Ananada: I LOVE Breaking Bad. Seems like every episode is better than the last. And I think there is a lot to be said for being easily amused :-)
Churlita: I used to watch Wife Swap sometimes too. When I see the clips on The Soup, it makes me want to start watching again....
Tara: I like the sound of that Tara. A brand new dvd, a relaxing beverage, and something to munch on. Perfect.
