You're a Stranger to Me Now

It is Saturday! Time to post some photos that express something. This week that something is MISUNDERSTANDING, as chosen by NoRegrets. This one was a toughy...and I say this is a completely positive way. So without further ado, I give you my Saturday Scavenger Shots:

I was reading Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim by David Sedaris and I came upon this passage where is tries to pass off an incident where a popular kid beaned him in the mouth with a rock as "a little MISUNDERSTANDING between friends". I took a picture of it...and it came out awful...but here it is anyway.

We are getting a new supervisor here in the Children's division within the next few weeks. I hope that there is no MISUNDERSTANDING concerning the circus under my desk. *sigh*

Fun with words for the other juveniles out there. Again, *sigh*.

I hope that you enjoyed this sort of MISUNDERSTANDING. Seems like the best kind to me. And just so there is no MISUNDERSTANDING, check with NoRegrets to see who she is tagging for next week! And...have a great next week :-)

Ha, I love that last one especially. One of our teachers gave us a small packet of word puzzles on our last day of school before Summer break one time and that was one type.

Good luck with your new supervisor!

I've heard that David Sedaris bit - it's great! David Sedaris has another bit where he talks about his life during the time when he was into performance art and crystal meth. His performance art piece was: Dragging a cash register through a forest.

he's kind of my hero

Tara: I love words, but can be really lame when it comes to any sort of puzzle :-)
I am so nervous about changes at work, even though I'm sure it will work out fine.

Bobby: David Sedaris is my kind of hero too. My goal? To get out and see him do a live reading. Yeah!

Hey there... I thought the first one was going to be a take on being old and not being able to read fine print - not thatyou are, but I am! I really like your photos.

PS, I had chosen Evile, but if there's no hope of that, then the Swamp thing. ;-)

NoRegrets: haha! Well, I kinda am...I should probably consider reading glasses :-)

And thanks, sounds great!

I guess I have been tagged then (if I am, in fact, Swamp Thing) since Evil-E doesn't seem to be coming back anytime soon.

Nice misunderstandings. I was too migrainey to play this week. I'll try again next week.

Churlita: Both you and NoRegrets were migrainey this weekend. They must travel and attack in packs.
Hope you're feeling better.
