Another Lady Driver

I posted this photo about six months ago, showing Girlie Girl and her learner's permit. I don't have another photo just yet, but I do have the news that she is, as of today, a fully licensed driver. Her dad is working on getting her a car. It will be nice for me in some ways to have her able to drive herself and maybe pick up Handsome Lad from school sometimes. Still, I worry. It is scary to have them out there tooling about. You'd think I'd be used to it, as she is my fourth driver....but apparently you never get used to it. Wish us luck :-)

Oh no! This scares me. I have about 8 more years til my first one gets hers. If I let her. Maybe I will wait til she is 18. Just teasing.

Neither of my girls even have their permits. It would be easier, but I don't know if I can afford the insurance for them. Yikes!

Movin': In eight years you might welcome another driver in the family :-) But, yeah, it's scary.

Churlita: Yes, insuring teenagers is ridiculous...but girls aren't as much as boys. Yay!

Congratulations to your daughter! One more step towards complete independence - that's a mixture of emotions I bet. Good luck to you all!

FW: Definitely a mixture of emotions. Time goes faster than I'd ever imagined.
Thanks :-)
