Post a Picture of Your Favorite Room

This was an easy Taraday to celebrate! I don't loooove cooking, so my favorite room is not the kitchen (although I am a fan of eating...) The livingroom is so public. I like it when everyone is hanging out there, but it does have the feel of a sort of public space, needing to accomodate different tastes and needs. I'm not a hanging out in the bathroom getting dolled up sort of girl, so we can eliminate those. Then there are the kids' rooms, which are generally anything from acceptable to disgusting on any given day...but they are not MY rooms, even with I am the one tidying them up. I present to you...
...my bedroom...my little sanctuary. When my children were really small, I never really felt that anywhere was all that private, but now that they are older I do feel that my room is all mine. I have it set up the way that I want it, although I still feel there is room for improvement. That's okay though, no rush. What is your favorite room, and why?

I love my new bedroom. Although, it doesn't look half as cozy as yours. Give it time, give it time.

I love my studio. Where I work most days when the girls are in school, at night when they are asleep. I write and paint and listen to music and look through books. I even eat dinner in here sometimes when the girls are gone.

Churlita: No need to rush towards perfection :-)

Stepping: Your studio sounds wonderful. I've always wished to be artistic.

BabyBull: You are a heart of the house sort of person..there is something really lovely in that.

I like the color on the wall in that pic.

I don't really have a foavorite room right now. I guess I need to find a new place to live. Seriously.

It would be the bathroom in the summer (because it's quite large and gets the sun in the morning) and the bedroom in winter (because I like to be warm snuggled in bed).

MiniJonB: It is a bit like living in a lime...in a good way.
And it does sound like maybe a change would do you good.

FW: I wish my bathroom was large and got sun, that sounds nice! And I agree that being warm and snuggled is the way to go when winter sets in...right now it is hard to imagine, but I know cold nights are coming...
