I figure I better keep today's post brief. I've been going around leaving my comments and have noticed that I am having a lot of trouble forming coherent sentences and my spelling errors are multiplying exponentially. I think I am still just tired from the new earlier time that I am rising since my little darlings went back to school. Five and half or even six hours of sleep is just not doing it for me anymore in my dotage. Pretty soon I'll be one of those old people clapping my lights off at 8 o'clock sharp. Or I could just carry on being a bit tired. Actually, if you really get sleep deprived you can get a very cool light headed thing going on...but scratch that, because I couldn't recommend driving or blogging or talking to others in a sleep deprived state....
Well, actually what will happen is I will adjust to my new schedule, fall asleep maybe half an hour earlier, and learn to get by on whatever I get. That's how I do, do, do what I do. Do. Doh.

6 hours of sleep?!?! I have never been able to function on that few of hours, no matter what age I was!
MrManuel: I'm glad to hear that....it makes me feel less wimped out here.
one starving musician came by to say: 6 hours is good unless you are managing a household full of kids. Then i'd say at least 9. Maximum I'm guessing you'll actually get: 7. at best.

That's about what I get for sleep.. If we are really lucky I sleep in till 7 am.. but our little man likes to wake me before the crows lately.. so I'm only getting about 5 hours.. He's not even in school yet...
Sometimes if you're stressed, that can really attack your ability to think straight. I was under lots of stress awhile ago, and for a short time I could not remember names (well I still can't, but I'm learning) and when I'd call people, I'd completely forget what I was going to say. It was irritating. But once the stressful part was over, my memory came back.
I stay up way too late, so I can have some alone time after the girls go to bed. I normally get 6 hours a night and try to catch up over the weekend.
J.Elliot: Thanks for stopping in...I really like your blog, what a great idea!
Yeah, I think 7 is the best I'd ever do, except maybe on the weekend...
BabyBull: I do remember those days. Now when given a chance everyone sleeps in, but it is school that gets us :-)
Tara: I think there could be some of the stress factor involved, which I hadn't really considered. I need to be more chill...
Churlita: I am the same, getting that quiet time when I can, but kind of regretting it the next day. I do sleep on weekends though if there isn't some other activity to interfer.
