Thought I'd Something More to Say

Are you in the mood to Choose and Defend? I hope so. It is Wednesday, after all!  I thought I'd find out how you feel about our habit of changing the clock twice a year. Here in the U.S. we just returned to Daylight Saving Time this past Sunday. I guess it is not the same date everywhere, but does happen at some point nearly everywhere.

So which jump do you prefer, and why?

Falling Back (to Standard Time)

OR

Springing Forward (to Daylight Saving Time)

Perhaps you love them both...but you must love one slightly more...these are not your kids, you know! Perhaps you hate them both...but you must hate one slightly more...these are not your exes, you know!

Now...Choose and Defend! Please. Thank you.

Forward! I LOVE DST. I don't actually like the time change, I just love having extra light in the evenings. I don't see why we can't leave it that way year-round.

Even though I lose an hour of sleep when we move the clocks forward, I like the extra daylight when I head home from work. It's also a sign that warmer, snowless months are ahead.

Anyway, I'm a fan of springing forward for Daylight Saving Time.

Secret: I have to agree...love the longer evenings. One for Springing Forward.

Tara: It is nice to have that marker that warm weather is coming! Two for Springing Forward.

James: I bet you a big teaser, huh! One for Falling Back.

Everyone: So far Falling Back has fallen back behind Springing Forward. hee hee! 1-2. Please to join the conversation?

When I was younger I wanted the extra hour in bed. Now I never get that extra hour in bed, so the hour forward gets my vote. I too prefer the light mornings and evenings :)

FW: haha! Easier to let go of something you have little hope of getting :) Three for Springing Forward.
