Well, looky here. We have made it all the way around to Wednesday once again. You know what that means, right? That's right! Choose and Defend Wednesday! I believe I have mentioned several hundred times that I am not much of a game player. However, I am open to the many possibilities. Because this is Choose and Defend, there won't be
many possibilities...just the usual
two possibilities. And we gonna keep it all low tech up in here. Time to play a game...what will it be?
Card Game
OR
Board Game
Of course, in your defense, you may elaborate further on your choice. Elaboration is welcomed! So, come on and name your game. Choose and Defend!

I love board games more than card games.. I choose Board games.. There is such a huge variety and genres that it does make it difficult to choose which game.. I love Scrabble.. then Taboo, and Monopoly!
Board game, please! I used to love Candy Land. Never played Battleship, though! I was deprived. :)
Card game. Hmm.. why? You only need a deck of cards and there are so many possibilities.
See, it totally depends on which board game or card game we're talking about. I like some board games that involve silliness and imagination. But others bore me. I like playing euchre quite a bit, but many other card games leave me cold (except for spoons which adds the silliness element). Guess I'd probably choose a good board game in most cases.
BTW I just did that meme on rules.
Just read Tara's comment - Candy Land makes me want to plunge a fork into my own temple. Ditto Chutes and Ladders. God, was I glad when the kids outgrew those.
I like both, actually, but a deck of cards offers so many choices including solitaire, two or more player games and card trick.
CARD GAMES
I'll go with cards. I love solitaire and Stinky loved concentration when she was little.
Word verification? Undicede - so close to undecide.
I choose cards hands down! Hee hee.
As for the other choice... I spell that bored games.
I go for card games. I like the variety of card games and the fact that the games don't last too long (unlike some board games).
Mrs: I liked Taboo when I played it. Monopoly feels so long to me...but that is exactly why some people like it! One for Board Games.
Tara: haha! Miss Personality likes Candyland and Chutes & Ladders. She has her own rules though. Two for Board Games.
Pamela: The possibilities are virtually endless. One for Card Games.
Secret: Once again, the things we do for our kids :-) Sounds like you like a bit of goofiness in your game, no matter what. I can get behind that. Three for Board Games. (And thanks for doing the Friday 5! Loved your answers.)
AlienCG: Good point! Solitaire does give cards that single player option, as few board games do. Two for Card Games.
Churlita: Oh, I am so bad at Concentration! Solitaire is awesome. Glad you were able to dicede :-D Three for Card Games.
Ananda: haha! Bored games...yeah, I hear you. Four for Card Games.
FW: I agree that the length of play of some board games gets to me. Five for Card Games.
Eveyone: Card Games have pulled ahead of Board Games with a score of 5-3. Anyone else want to weigh in on this issue? Don't be shy.
Sorry I'm so late to the game...
I choose cards. More specifically, Texas Hold'em or Blackjack.
For relaxed family fun, I prefer Farkle. Which is a dice game, so I guess it doesn't count.
KenV: As I often say, it is never too late to chime in! I would try to work out the Farkle conundrum, but for simplicity's sake you are Six for Card Games :-)
