Friday 5 - Misses

It's Friday.  TGIF?  Uh, yeah, definitely.  It has been a fine week, but I'm just tired out.  Sleeping in sounds amazing.  Now here, for your perusal, is my Friday 5.  I know a couple of you already have yours up on your blog, so yay!  If you don't, feel free to join in on your blog or in comments.

1.What’s something you frequently misplace?  I have gotten a LOT better about not misplacing objects.  More often, lately, it seems I misplace my sense of perspective or something.  I'm always reminding myself to take a step back :-)

2.For whom are you often mistaken?   Huh.  See for yourselves.   It is quite the challenge :-)

3.When were you last misinformed about something important?  I honestly can't remember the last time I was misinformed about something important.  I am provided with pretty accurate information it seems!  And if there is a mistake, I think it is more often on my end.

4.Where in your home do you have a seemingly random collection of miscellanea?  One kitchen drawer and the desk in my livingroom....and maybe my closet.

5.Upon meeting someone for the first time, what qualities in the other person are likely to cause you to misjudge him or her? Sometimes I mistake shyness for aloofness.  Which is stupid, because I am sure people do that same exact thing to me.

May your weekend be more hit than miss, all you missies and misters!

Interesting...you're not only a Laura Branigan look-alike; you share her first name/last initial, too!

It is an interseting Meme.. I commented on Tara's about Misses.. But sometimes I misjudge people thinking that if they don't talk to me that they would be upset or something.. A lesson I learned recently.. I miss my friend.. if that counts.. Have a funtastic and restful weekend..

See, now if someone is quiet around me, I assume they're shy, but they could totally be aloof! :)

That's great that you don't remember a time you were misinformed!

I hear you about sleeping in, too. I went shopping for groceries tonight after work and the exhaustion hit me like a tidal wave. I'm glad I'm home. Have a fantastic weekend! That's an order!

1. I used to misplace my keys, but now I misplace the purse I clip them onto. Sheesh.
2.There is some woman who lives in the area that must look a lot like me. I used to tell people that I was not her, but got tired of explaining that. Now I just say it's great to see them again.
3.I was last misinformed about my dumb car. Girrrr
4.I have a junk drawer in nearly every room of my house.
5.People who stare into my eyes kind of freak me out.

L.'Ailina L: Wish I had her voice too! People implore me not to sing.

Mrs: I think that is a perfect example for "misses" because it seems to have a deeper, more layered meaning. And thanks! I don't mind looking like the other Laura B. at all!

Tara: No, no...you have the right attitude! I am going to try and remember to go to "shy" as a fallback assumption :-) I hope you got to sleep in this weekend.

Ananda: So your lost things are getting bigger! I don't know if that is a positive or negative sign :-) Funny about your area doppelganger. Sometimes I'd rather answer to the wrong name than get into who I really am.
Oh, and I had to laugh at your staring into the eyes thing. I do that to people sometimes...sort of force them to make eye contact...it is one of my time passing amusements at work, freaking people out.

I have a friend who I used to work with, who people had a hard time telling us apart. I took it as a compliment, because she's in her twenties. Ha!

1. Misplace? My mind.
2. Mistaken? Penn Jillette
3. Misinformed? I make it a habit of keeping myself informed.
4. Miscellanea? My spare bedroom.
5. Misjudge? That they think I care.

Churlita: I would be so excited if I got mistaken for someone in their 20s! Never gonna happen, but yeah, that is definitely a compliment.

AlienCG: haha! You're very funny for an Alien :-) And I have a little crush on Penn Jillette, so be careful if I ever run into you in person.
