What American Accent Do I Have?

You should try this, it really works. Filched from Poppy.

What American accent do you have?
Your Result: The West

Your accent is the lowest common denominator of American speech. Unless you're a SoCal surfer, no one thinks you have an accent. And really, you may not even be from the West at all, you could easily be from Florida or one of those big Southern cities like Dallas or Atlanta.

shocking.....

Your Result: The Inland North

You may think you speak "Standard English straight out of the dictionary" but when you step away from the Great Lakes you get asked annoying questions like "Are you from Wisconsin?" or "Are you from Chicago?" Chances are you call carbonated drinks "pop."

Read my last post, I do not say pop. I have been several places and I love the differences between the English language from point A to B.

I love 'accents' because, as they say, here in the West we have the most unaccented speech around. I have never been ANYWHERE.

Yeah, when I was taking it I didn't quite get how it was going to figure it out, but it seems on the money.
