Doctor, Doctor Gimme the News!

Guess what is happening on this fine Choose and Defend Wednesday?  You are all getting a Degree in Medicine!  The only thing to do now is to determine what kind of physician you want to be.  As always, you get two choices...but hey, how you choose to specialize is fully up to you!  So, which would you prefer to do for a living?

MD

OR

DVM

Will you be tending to the peoples or the critters?  And please do feel free to talk about any special area of interest you might be perusing in your field in comments.  Choose and Defend!

MD....I think.

I doubt I'd choose DVM, since I'm an emotional wreck if I have to take my cat into a vet.

MD. DVM's go to school forever but a lot of times don't make enough to pay back their student loans. Plus,I love working in human health care for some reason...

Tara: I do think it might be hard to work with patients who couldn't understand what they were going through...so that would include animals or very young children. One for MD.

Churlita: I have heard that. I guess vets have to learn exponentially more, as animal systems vary and people are pretty much people :-) And I do remember that you worked in health care and I can tell you are good with people! Two for MD.

Everyone: We got ourselves a couple of MDs here! Hope to get more responses, but things have been quiet in the blogs lately, haven't they? Choose and Defend!!!

M.D. since I'm allergic to animals!

Secret: Oh, yes...that would make being a vet difficult :-) Three for MD.

Both are so very difficult! As I have to choose, it would be MD for me too I guess. I'm thinking of the reward of doing something that really does improve people's lives.

FW: I can't even imagine how it must feel to have a job that genuinely impacts people like that. Four for MD

BB-Idaho: Welcome to Fresh Hell! How do you feel about planes? Five for MD.

Five people doctors. No animal doctors. These things constantly surprise me :-)
