The Word's on the STREETs and It's On the News...

That's right! The word is STREET, the game is Saturday Scavenger Shots, and Churlita the Churlish Figure choose the word. Good one, eh?

At first I wanted to do something showing my STREET cred. Turns out I gots nothin'. Shocking, right? So, um, anyway...STREET signs it is! Here you go...

This is one of the main STREETs running through my city and it is also the name of the city.

Zzyzx Rd. is right off I-15 on the way to Vegas. Everyone takes pictures of this STREET sign because it is so odd and it is really out in the middle of nowhere.

Okay, you got me. This isn't an actual STREET sign. I didn't photograph it myself. I made it over at Street Sign Generator.com. Kinda cool, if not original :-)

Thanks for taking it to the STREET with me today. I can't wait to see who Churlita tags for next week.

These are just great. I've been out all day and need to work on my own. Or maybe I'll just borrow yours!

I like that one from Vegas.. Is it really a road though or just a fun sign to throw people off?

I think I'd feel a bit lonely too on the moon. Although it would be peaceful and I could get lots of work done..But still.

Awesome photos! I love that weird street sign!

Cricket: What's mine is yours :)

Mrs: There really is a Zzyzx Rd. going to a little town called Zzyzx as well. It's in the Mojave desert.

Tara: Lonely St. seemed appropriate for the location :-)
I liked your Elm Street stuff!

I think we passed that sign. We were really wiped out by the time we got into California from Vegas, but I remember Coadster pointing that out and trying to pronounce it.

Now, can you pronounce that name of that street in the second picture?

Don't worry, I have no street cred either, but I used to.

Churlita: It tends to be memorable, because there is very little to look at on that long desert stretch of the I-15 to Vegas.

AlienCG: Of course! It is pronounced Zizicks :-)
Oh, I bet you still have some street cred. on tap.

NoRegrets: I always enjoy name generators and little gadgets like that.
