Today is Ridiculously Busy and Happy 18th Birthday Social Animal

I have been running like a maniac all day today! The kids are out of school and hitting the library in force. They all want to be in the Summer Reading Program, they all want a list of books to read, and they all need their hands held to actually find the books on the shelf. Yay for reading! But damn, I am tired.

Today is Social Animal's 18th birthday, as I have mentioned. I left the celebrating part sort of up to him, so he took me up on the offer and called me up about an hour ago wanting to meet at Round Table Pizza for dinner. He said any sibs could come that were around and he would meet us there with a friend or two or three. I am hemorrhaging money, but it is almost over.... Well, okay, it is never over, but this intense season of celebration is almost over...

I am here to announce you are in the running for Mother of the Year. You have been rather busy of late and seemingly you got it all in control.

You have even found time to squeeze us in and post, there is some sort of reward coming in the near future for sure.

Wow, his graduation and then his birthday? Yup, I nominate you as well for Mother of the Year!

Evil-E: You are too kind! You know how it is...the rewards of parenthood make it all worthwhile.
And taking the time for these little visits is strictly for my own selfish pleasure :-)

BabyBull: I don't know...I don't think I'd want to be in competition with you for that particular title. I am pretty sure I've done a thing or two that would put me right out of the running.

Tara: That is just good old fashioned bad planning ;-) I should have given birth to any and all children far away from potential celebration stack-up zones!

Churlita: As much as it hurts me to say it, it never ends. Ever.

BabyBull: I'd go for that! You, me, and Churlita too!
