Today is the first day of Summer, my favorite season. Like most people, I enjoy complaining quite a bit. I gripe when it is cold and damp. I moan when it is hot and humid. Basically, unless you are the perfect day...you know the kind, where the air somehow feels like the exact temperature of your skin, there is a slight breeze, the sun caresses you gently....um, anyway, unless you are that day I will probably be Complainie Complainerson. Still, there is something about Summertime. Maybe part of it is the happy associations of childhood. Those endless days filled with nothing to do but create my own little world with my friends. Now when it starts to get hot, I still feel some residual sense of excitement, as though the world is opening up for me once again.
And isn't sweat sexier than shivering? Well, probably not to everyone, but heat just does something to me...
Ah, geez, have a glass of ice cold lemonade and join me in welcoming Summer!

That title of yours seems strangely familiar....hmmmm, like something out of a post.
Today it is perfect in Cleveland, sunny, high 70's, a nice breeze and blue skies. Makes me want to find the neighbors, throw on a special CD, kick back and down a few beers.
Today was mid-70's and mostly sunny here in St. Paul. I can't wait to get back to Cleveland, however. Happy Summer, l.b.
this morning it was about 60 out and the weather chick was complaining.. about it being below seasonal temps.. But I disagree.. it was a perfest morning...to sit outside and have my morning Laite' and a smoke...
LOL "Complainie Complainerson" - sounds like something I would say.
BTW - sexiest weather = when it is raining!
I'm such a huge fan of hot weather, except when I'm trying to get to sleep at night. I love to cover up with all of my covers, but the humid summer nights make it difficult, and I can only cover up with a sheet. But aside from that I love getting in my car after it's been in the sun all day and I've been in air conditioning. The summer breezes are nice too, and being able to sit by the pool.
I grew up in Arizona, so I love the heat. Bring on the Summer!
Evil-E: Haha! Could be, could be. Sounds like a perfect evening
AlienCG: Thanks! Travel safely.
Viki: My kids and I always give each other these little names. It works with any attitude or odd appearance.
I wish I could appreciate rain more. We need it around here, but it just depresses me...
Tara: I have some trouble at night too and it seems like I always get sick when I have a fan or something blowing on me, so I leave my window open and just wait to feel cooler.
Churlita: And you know what they say in Arizona..."but at least its a dry heat!"
BabyBull: Didn't mean to skip right over you!!! Sounds like a really pleasant morning routine
:-) It does seem quite cool though.
