Don't Judge Me!

Sometimes I post humorous little questions or requests on CraigsList just to waste time with the email that comes in response. It is called starting a dialog people! Ah, this must be my Day of Shame...

What kinds of questions do you ask on there? Sounds like fun. Hehe.

I like getting a response to a question(s), it is like a science project.

haha! Okay, now I am really embarrassed because I just write these silly things to catch the eye of other bored people. I usually post in the Personals-Stictly Platonic rather than the Discussion forums, because you get more variety of people to answer.
The headline might say "Can Men and Women Really Be Friends?" Then I might just post a little query, like: What do you think? Can men and women set aside all their preconceived ideas about romance and sexuality and have a purely platonic relationship? Sure we probably all have friends of the opposite sex, but how close are you really? Can you have a meaningful, intimate relationship without animal instincts getting in the way?
I get stuff for days and some of it is really interesting! But what a lame way to have to initiate conversation! I am so shy in person that I would never go up to a group of people at a party and get the ball rolling with something like that.

very thought provoking.. I would love to see the responses..

I'm shy too and wouldn't verbally divulge lots of stuff I write in my blog. Well maybe if we all met for coffee or something, but I wouldn't bring it up in a board meeting. ;)

I am not very shy and usually what I post has been commiteed in person with some before-hand anyway. Maybe not in a board/bored meeting, but in person somehow.

BabyBull: The responses vary dramatically. I get people who send me very well written theories about the nature of love or the Platonic ideal. I get illiterate snide remarks. There are the people who feel compelled to send the stats whenever they talk to you...I'm a MWM, blonde, blue eyes, into fitness...whatever. It is definitely a window to the world

Tara: I am a pretty different person around people I know well than I am in a room full of strangers or even acquaintances. As for you guys, I feel like you know so much about me that I could come up to any one of you in person and pick right up! haha!

Evil-E: You are not shy...somehow I think I had sensed that about you. It makes your blog posts extra cool to know that you actually do the things you talk about.
