Thursday = My Big TV Night

I recognize there is something a little sad about this, but I always look forward to Thursday evening because of all the good shows on. Thursday is the undisputed king of my viewing world. It is so unusual for not one, but two networks to have two solid hours of must-see-tv.
ABC provides Ugly Betty and Grey's Anatomy for comedic drama. NBC brings the pure funny with My Name is Earl, The Office, Scrubs, and 30 Rock. I have even been known to watch Grey's and The Office more than once.
So TGITh and TGTF&IO (thank god tomorrow's Friday & I'm off!)

Thursday used to be a good TV night to me with the Discovery Crime and Mystery lineup. A Haunting, Most Evil and show about a serial murderer and how he/she was captured. Now, there is really nothing that interests me on Thursdays. I used to like sitcoms, but anymore they all seem the same to me.

I usually work late on Thursdays but this week I traded with my manager (because of the football game), so I was home at 5pm. I was able to watch "A Haunting" on "The Discovery Channel", but it was a rerun. It was a scary rerun, but nothing new. They switched the show from 9pm to 8pm. Usually when I got home at around 9, I could watch it, but then they switched it. Bastards.

I really do not watch much TV, as in shows. Sunday afternoon is my favorite TV from September until late January (football season).

AlienCG: I don't watch as many sitcoms as I have in past seasons. They can all start to seem the same. Thursday just happens to be my big night :-)

Ryan: Did you love it? I am hoping that when Meredith hears her father's side of the story she will stop being such a beeyotch to him and his other family, who seem so nice!

Tara: You must spend the money for a DV-R or some sort of Tivo-ish thing. Without mine, I would actually never get to watch an entire show of any sort!

Evil-E: With three sons at home there is always plenty of sports viewing going on at my house. I find myself getting interested sometimes in spite of myself...

I'm with you about ugly Betty- but what about CBS? There's CSI and Shark...thought you should know that. (by the way, I googled 'boring' and for some reason your website showed up..)

I hope you'll stop by again sometime, anonymous. I used to watch CSI, but kind of got over it...maybe I will give Shark a try :-)
