You Gave Me Love For Free

I feel like I haven't posted that much lately (for me).  I have been feeling a bit overwhelmed, not only at work, but in general.  It isn't all bad, but I have to say that some of it definitely is.  So I'm a bit Stressy von Stressenhoff.  I'm sure one day it will explode on your computer screen :)  Until then, let's play a little Choose and Defend.

Looks like me sweet tooth is calling to me.  I have a delicious choice for you to make.  I can't handle the heavy stuff I tells ya!  So which of these candies (which I am convinced, sometimes work in cahoots to fool people) will you choose for your snack today?

M&M's
  OR

Skittles

There you go!  All you have to do is Choose a treat and Defend your choice with as much enthusiasm as you can muster when it comes to candy :-)   Sweet!!!

Skittles are those vapid, two dimensional people. What you see is what you get. But M&Ms? What are you hiding under this candy coating? Chocolate? Dark chocolate? Peanut, almond, pretzel? Chocolate AND peanut butter?

M&Ms, baby. They're deep.

M&Ms! No hesitation on this one. I will always choose chocolate in any of its forms over anything else... the darker the better!
Besides, my dentist told me not to give my kids Skittles...they are too gummy and wedge in between teeth where they love to grow cavities. Chocolate, he told me, is melted by the temperature in your mouth... and is easily broken down. All the better if you hold it on your tongue and don't chew... just let it melt.
He couldn't fool me...I think he was a chocolaholic too! but I was glad for the guilt free permission.

I don't like either very much. As I'm forced into choosing, I'll go for Skittles because there might be less fat in them. That's the best I can do on this one, I'm afraid.

um... I suppose M&M's overall, for the chocolate fix. Though I have been getting snooty about my choclate and I do love pure sugar, which skittles are... hmmm... can I be on the fence? OK, then M&Ms

Please feel free to dump. So sorry...

Ugh, I hate that overwhelming feeling. I hope things settle down for you soon!

My choice is Skittles. Sometimes I like the M&Ms with peanuts or almonds in them, but I don't like the plain ones. I like the tart, fruity taste of Skittles.

James: Your defense is deep! And I would find it very hard to argue against ;-) One for M&Ms

Silly: Chocolaholics unite! I love the dental seal of approval (sort of) on chocolate! Two for M&Ms

FW: Do you not care for sweets? Or just not these? In any event, yes, Skittles do have slightly fewer fat calories! One for Skittles

NoRegrets: Aw, I wouldn't dump your answer, no matter how unenthusiastic :) You gave it some thought and I appreciate that! Three for M&Ms

Tara: Thanks, Tara. I hope so too. A very good defense of your choice. Two for Skittles

Everyone: I like the good Defense being played in here! And these candies are closely matched at 3-2 with M&Ms enjoying a slight lead. Anyone else want to sweet talk?

M and M's because they have chocolate in them.

Mrs.: Good argument there! Four for M&Ms

Churlita: Really, the only argument :-D Five for M&Ms

M&Ms are creeping ahead 5-2!

Skittles are so tasty!

I can't offer any objective assessment; my only justification is that I crave Skittles more than I ever crave M&Ms.

BB: Just liking something is a good enough Defense here :-) Three for Skittles.

5-3!
