Could Anyone Else Go For Chinese?

Sure! Let's have Chinese! And since it is Wednesday, it is time to Choose and Defend. We've all decided to have the Lunch special and there are several choices to make. Among them...

Fried rice?

Or steamed rice?

What will it be? Choose a rice, and please, defend your choice :-) Choose and Defend! And when we finish we can all read our fortune cookies and I will get way too amused playing "in bed". Can't wait!

Oh without a doubt, fried rice. I thought I'd try steamed rice without anything in it, and I couldn't finish it. Gross. My mom, though, used to put fried chicken pieces into the rice, or she'd put something that would compliment the white, steamed rice.

But fried rice? Yum!! Especially with shrimp in it.

Rice is good in all forms, this will be tough.

I will have to go with fried rice because in thinking back and taking a mental poll, I order fried more often.

Here is a fortune for you: Man with hand in pocket feeling cock-y!!

Tara: I agree that steamed rice definitely needs to have something added to be at it's best :-)

Evil-E: I am a rice fan too.

haha! Those are my kind of fortunes, Cookie.

AlienCG: Alrighty!

Daffy: Yes, it is very similar to boiled rice...so fried for you.

Everyone: Fried rice takes the day! At least so far. If anyone else wants to weigh in, please feel free :-) BTW, I would, so far, be the lone hold out for steamed rice as a favorite...but I like to put my other food on top of it.

Okay. You know how I like to be different. I do prefer steamed rice. I like both, actually and my daughter loves fried rice, but sometimes it's too greasy for me. I like the sticky steamed rice with whatever entree put on top of it.

Churlita: Finally, a fellow steamed rice with entree person! Yay!
