Though I do love some top 40 now and then, I have to go with Indie. I like the diversity. I can listen to almost anything.
I don't mind old top 40 - like from the 70's and 80's for the nostalgia factor. If it's current stuff, I'd much rather listen to indie music.

Top 40 has it's place. The listening public is wrong only most the time. The Stones, Beatles, Nirvana, and BoysIIMen all hit Top 40. Sometimes, you don't need an organic boisenberry muffin, you need a Twinkie. And when you do, its always there for you.
