Seven Nights I Have Laid to Waste

Hello from the land of recuperation.  I was dog sick yesterday, but it at least it inspired today's Choose and Defend Wednesday!   Tell us your preference...Choose, and then explain yourself...Defend.  It's some free fun for a Wednesday.  It'll take you right over that hump!

So, when you are ill do you prefer to be...

Pampered

OR

Left Alone

Stay healthy...I don't want any of you to have to consider this for real!   Choose and Defend.

For the most part, I like to be left alone. I haven't been sick in awhile, the flu shot has really worked well for me. The first time I was sick on my own, it was weird and I felt more alone than I wanted to be. But at the same time it was nice to just call in sick and plop back into bed.

I do like it when my mom calls to check in on me when I'm not feeling good. Last time she came over with ice cream. :)

Depends on the sickness. If it's a migraine, I need to be left alone until I can move again. I prefer someone's help!

Pamper the hell out of me!

If I'm sick, Leave Me Alone!

Otherwise, come on in! I love it when my girlies all pile on my bed in the mornings. Even if they do wake me up.

so you felt badly.

I like to be left alone. I get really internal when I don't feel well, and I don't like to be brought out into the real world until I'm better. Good question.

Here is my answer, plain and simple...Bring me a beverage and LEAVE ME ALONE, to sleep, to dream to recover. Thank you.

If I had to choose, pampered. But really what I like is intermittent pampering with being left alone in between.

Tara: I know what you mean...there are good things about being alone, except for the feeling too alone part! Moms know the best stuff :-)
One for Left Alone.

NoRegrets: Yes, I guess there are some conditional things about different illness. One for Pampered (right?)

MrManuel: Why am I not shocked?
:-D Two for Pampered.

KenV: For sure, sick day and regular day are totally different moods. Two for Left Alone.

Churlita: Yeah, I've been feeling pretty guh. I get internal too.
Three for Left Alone.

AlienCG: I hear you, brother. Four for Left Alone. You're welcome!

Secret: Compromise is nice, but we don't go in for it here at Choose and Defend. haha! Thank you for choosing. Three for Pampered.

Everyone: This was a nice close race, with Being Left Along squeaking ahead of Being Pampered by a narrow margin of ONE. Anyone else want to chime in?

In a strange way I feel being pampered in my house is a bit like being left alone! I wouldn't mind being brought food and drink occasionally and left alone in bed. usually though pampering someone who is ill only encourages them :-) It does depend on the illness though to be fair
