The incredible, edible egg. I don't know how the material of the egg was first created within the animals; I suspect maybe there was some interspecies shenanigans and magic going on or something.Anyway, that's my demented answer. ;)
The egg. Cause I was there.
Wait! I meant to say the chicken. Darn this old age...
I'd rather eat chicken, I think.
This is a dilemma for me.. as I like both the chicken and the egg.. As I have aged (only a little) I have noticed I have a low tolerance for eating eggs.. so I have to go with chicken.. ahhhhyea definitely the chicken! besides I use to sing to our chickens when I was a kid..
If genetic mutations occur at conception, seems like the immediate pre-chicken laid the egg which hatched int o a chicken. (Gross oversimplification, of course) So egg first. As for eating, eggs. Since I don't eat bird.
Tara: Interspecies shenanigans and magic! I knew I liked you for a reason :-) Lots of them actually. One for The Egg.3GK: Oooookay there, Old Timer. hee hee! One for...The Chicken.NoRegrets: Ah, a food choice. Excellent. Two for The Chicken.Mrs: Another food related choice! I can certainly get behind that...and I love that you used to sing to your chickens! Three for Chickens.Secret: A little science thrown in to confuse me, eh? haha! I like it. Two for The Egg.Everyone: Your philosophies are bold and beautiful. This is a close run with The Chicken leading The Egg 3-2. Early days still, feel free to join the discussion. :-)
The hen. :)
AlienCG: Ah, well, yes...the female of the species, certainly. (Sadly, this is not a trick question!) Four for The Chicken.Chicken now leads, 4-2 :-)
I couldn't eat eggs for a while when I was pregnant. Now, I've been eating a lot of them...Plus, you can make cake with them. I vote egg.
Churlita: The food answers are totally ruling here! :-) Three for The Egg.Closing the gap at 4-3!
