Will I Choose Water Over Wine

Oh, Saturday. Thank you for showing up. I needed you so, so much. Let me show my appreciation with some Saturday Scavenger Shots. This week's word is DRIVE. It was chosen by my dear friend Jasen over at Swamp Gas & Moonlit Reflections

Sometimes I get clever with words. I mean, I'm capable of that. But this week, I went straight at it. DRIVE  as in DRIVE my car...yes, I'm gonna be a star. And baby, I love you. See what I did there? Okay then.  Here goes -

WTG likes to take Handsome Lad out to DRIVE. They only go in parking lots, but still. Well, at least he is old enough now that it finally makes some sense. I have many pictures of Handsome Lad in the DRIVEr's seat. This one is recent.

I stuck up my phone and took this through the windshield during my morning DRIVE to work. Is that entirely safe? Probably not entirely. But I was basically just throwing my hand in the air like I just don't care...and, um, yeah. Morning DRIVE.

When DR and I go out for a DRIVE together, I force him to sit in the back seat with random furniture that I place back there specifically to torture him. You'll have to trust me when I say he deserves it.

After this, I'm sure none of you will ever accept my invitation to go for a little DRIVE, even if I promise some exotic destination. That's okay. I'll give you a call when I get there. Have a nice long weekend, if you get one...a nice regular weekend if that is all you rate ;-)

Now...who will Jasen tag for next week? Who? Who? Who?

I remember being a youngster behind the wheel of my first car. Ah, those were the days.

I took a picture of downtown Toronto on one of my trip to the great white north. I know what it's like to take a photo while driving. Don't tell anyone.

If you ever invite me to go for a drive, can I request a Chesterfield? I really like Chesterfields.

I have tagged 3 Girl Knight to see if he wants to play.

That last photo is a hoot.

I have my second driver, now, with a learner's permit. Scary stuff.

That's so funny. Poor DR... Though, it almost looks like he's getting ready to kiss that shelf!

Jasen: Those young, heady days, eh? :) And yes, you may have Chesterfield seating. No stabby bookshelves for you!

Secret: Once that one is licensed up I guess I will have to give up my taxi license. I'm okay with that...but yeah, it is scary!

NoRegrets: He would probably rather have kissed the shelf than me at that point :)

Ha, I had my friend hold a little filing cabinet we bought awhile back while I drove back to work. She looked really uncomfortable, but I couldn't stop laughing. >:)

I'm behind again- better see what I can post for "drive" and then "exquisite"!

Tara: Someone has to secure the car furniture! :-D
Looking forward, as always, to anything bloggy from you.

Loved that last photo LB and your explanation! Remind me not to get into a situation where I ever need a ride in back of your car! Ha ha!

FW: It's true...you must never go thrift shopping with me. You'll surely end up hugging something unweildy in the backseat...
