I remember when I was trying to do the long distance thing a couple of years ago. I used to wonder how people did it before there were cell phones and texting.

Phones are a great piece of technology. Of course, it seems that their primary function has taken a back seat to the rest of the features.

I'm very thankful to my phone, too. Phone, internet and texting all in one tiny portable device - sweet!
Churlita: I count on the phone so much, because he lives in a rural area and has DIAL UP internet. Ugh. The phone saves us.
Secret: My two younger kids don't even know what it was like before cell phones, really. To me all the technology is still pretty miraculous.
