Bring Your Daughter to Work Day

I guess it is, right? Or for the more liberal among us, Bring Your Child to Work Day. No one here did that. See, we go to work to get away from our children! Geez!
Actually, I have had all my children at work with me at one time or another. It is sort of fun, but also very worlds collide-y. Work l.b. is not quite exactly the same as Home Mom.
Do any of you have worlds that you don't like colliding? Like one group of friends that must never meet another group of friends? Tell us all about it, p-p-p-pleeeeease?

I like to keep the metal guys away from the work crowd. The work crowd just does not see me as a metal guy and they have no idea what goes on in the "underground".

I do not date metal chicks so i do not have to break up with them and eventually run into them at shows and stuff.

I will be sending some questions very soon. But right now, we gots thunder and lightning.

Nice new look by the way, it's very, whats the word--pink!

It's a pink way to start my day...Like the new look.. it seems we are getting into the spirit of Spring...I have Mr.Giggles with me all the time so I guess I take him to work everyday...

Yes, I do keep my friends away from my family and family away from work and work away from friends.
That way i can tell them anything about myself and there is no way I would get caught!

I had a big group of friends who I met in a fan chatroom awhile back. Friction erupted with a few of them, there was some blow up of emotions online and the group kind of broke in half. It's awkward, because one of my good friends is enemies with a few of my other friends from "the other side". Gotta keep them cyber separated.

Oh and I love the pink background!

i thought it was "bring your kids to work in the salt mines day"

=;-)

i have plenty of worlds not colliding stories. i don't even know where to begin. i'll have to think about it and get back.

Evil-E: Have you ever had one of the non-metal chicks you dated become a metal chick because of you? That could mess up that plan!
I have emailed you, fixed my email link, and played around with the template again...

BabyBull: I was feeling saucy. haha! It is fun to be able to stay home when your kids are so little like Mr. Giggles.

Viki: My kinda girl! You know just what I mean :-)

Tara: That sounds like it would fit right in with Soap Opera Day! I have had that happen in groups too. Online things can be so oddly intense!

MiniJonB: That is another way to put it ;-) I know that I, for example, prefer for my kids to imagine that I work much, much harder than I actually do.
When you gather your stories, be sure to tell them...
