1.What’s something you have an unreasonable fear of? I don't know...to me my fears seem perfectly reasonable. Heights can be dangerous. Most insects are perfectly harmless, but not all of them! It is reasonable to fear pain. I do have a weird sort of fear of the way trees and things are just black silhouettes at sunrise or sunset. It is a pretty time, yet I get uneasy for some reason. That seems a bit unreasonable.
3.What’s something you have an unreasonable disliking for? Like my fears, my dislikes feel reasonable to me! Well, maybe my dislike of "big" voices, like Celine Dion and Mariah Carrey is somewhat unreasonable. When I hear those sorts of singers I just cringe. No real reason for that, is there.
4.Who’s most likely to bring out the unreasonable in you? Probably DR. He is very patient with me, but I can feel how unreasonable I'm being sometimes when I'm talking to him or sort of stalking him around the internet. My crazy lonely bag lady thoughts get the better of me sometimes. Wow, kind of hate myself right now...
5.Who’s the least unreasonable person you know? Probably my old and currently filling in boss, Smiley. She can be a little high strung, but is also very willing to see the best in things and compromise. I appreciate that in the workplace...and everywhere else for that matter.
Ha! How did I look at this and think it would be fun? It nearly ruined me! Oh well, might as well speak the truth here...because if not here, where? Please feel free to play along in comments or on your blog. I'm sure you want to now :-)
Also, please visit my Wednesday Choose and Defend post, if you haven't yet picked a horse in the Dancing with the Stars race. There could be a reward in it for you! (Bribery works, right?) Also, also, please come back tomorrow for Saturday Scavenger Shots. What will I possibly put up for PLANT? I still don't know! You should probably come find out....

1. Needles. Gah.
2. Cotton candy. I know, kid food.
3. First, Celine's problem is not a big voice, but a nasally one. But for me it's men who sing in high voices.
4. Bad drivers.
5. A good friend of mine - she's absurdly patient.
I'm wondering how I missed last week's Friday5? I don't remember doing that one, but it looks challenging enough to be fun.
Like you, I don't think my "unreasonable" fears are too unreasonable. I have reasons why they are my fears. Hence, they're reasonable to me.
Oh and I think the two of us online would be a force to be reckoned with, because I'm self conscious enough (sometimes too late) to realize that I can be the "lonely bag lady" as well.

Mirrors. I am afraid there will be someone staring at me!
2.What’s something you have an unreasonable fondness for? Cheeseburgers!
3.What’s something you have an unreasonable disliking for? All my dislikes are reasonable! :-)
4.Who’s most likely to bring out the unreasonable in you? Idiotic people
5.Who’s the least unreasonable person you know? Umm, drawing a total blank. Jessica's dad can be pretty unreasonable sometimes. Sshhhh...
I'm afraid I'll have to dissent on #3, ha ha ha.
Perhaps because I am a singer, I admire the big voices.
I am in particular a huge fan of Kelly Clarkson, but I think my enjoyment of her is reasonable: she not only has, in my opinion, the best voice of her generation, but also a refreshing degree of restraint. Her performances are usually simple and stunning, with the expressiveness of her tone drawing more attention than all of Celine or Christina's vocal acrobatics would.
Couple that with genuinely meaningful songs, a realistic body image, and what seems to be an awesome personality, and there's no reason not to love this girl.
Sorry, I'm a dork fan, ha ha.
Secret: Aw, I like cotton candy too :-)
And it is very nice to have an absurdly patient friend, isn't it.
Tara: Isn't it a good one?
Ha! We could have our own little Online Stalkers Anonymous or something :-) I feel so understood!
MrManuel: haha! That first thing made me think of a They Might Be Giants song - I will never say the word "Procrastinate" again; I'll never see myself in the mirror with my eyes closed
BB: You know, I like Kelly Clarkson too. Her voice doesn't have that tone or quality that bothers me. She doesn't do a ton of runs and show-offy things.
My name is laura b. and I approve of this fan geekdom!!!
