What a day, what a day...at least it is a Wednesday, the perfect day to play Choose and Defend Wednesday! I have not been very domestic lately, so I thought maybe a rather domestic Choose and Defend could be nice. So let's do that. Let's say it is time to prepare dinner and you are given a choice by your *husband, girlfriend, mom, son, roommate...whoever!* Tonight you may either...

My answer will come as no surprise: Cook! No question. I love to cook.
Cook. I love to cook and want to cook. I will allow anyone else to clean up. As long as I get to cook. COOK, final answer.
I like both options, but I'll pick "clean up after". It's a way for me to get away from the busy chatter and recharge while I tidy up. God bless dishwashers.

Jasen: I have seen examples of your meals, too. And you've made the right decision. Two for Cook.
Tara: That is a nice way to think of it. I wash by hand and do find it decompressing :) One for Clean Up.
Everyone: So 2 to cook and 1 to clean up? Looks like the dinner party is on!
I think I'm going to go with clean up. My reason is that if I'm not cooking then I can just enjoy the evening and relax right until the end when I can fill the dishwasher. Before we had a dishwasher it would probably have been different! But now, ah bliss!
FW: I still don't have a dishwasher. So primitive :) You make a good defense for your choice...Two for Clean Up.
