It is Wednesday already! It snuck up quickly because of the holiday. And because I can't keep track of days. But anyway, it is indeed Wednesday so it is time to Choose and Defend. This week, you get to choose a companion. Someone you are thrown together with, say, 8 hours per day. Which type of person would you prefer to work and/or socialize with in the long term?
Someone with a Poor Self-Image
OR
Someone Very Vain
You may be one or the other of these types as well. How would I know? haha! But, this is about someone else. Who would you prefer to deal with on the daily? Choose and Defend!

Oh lord, both scenarios sound exhausting. I think my answer depends on my relationship with this person. If I'm his or her manager, I'll take vanity. He or she is more likely to run with tasks and leave me alone.
If I have to collaborate with this person, I'll take poor self-image: fewer power struggles, greater likelihood of collaboration, etc.
If I just have to sit next to this individual, I'll take noise cancelling headphones.
Tough one. I'm not a very confrontational person, and someone very vain would likely set me off to the point where being around this person would be torture. Having some experience with low self-image (both myself and an ex), I have an idea of handle the situation, as long as I'm not in a relationship with this person. I'll take POOR SELF-IMAGE and try to make the best of it.
James: This is very situational I see. The important thing here is what you want! I bet you want to be the boss, don't you! Yeah. One for Very Vain.
Jasen: I like that you are willing to make the best of a difficult situation :) One for Poor Self Image.
Everyone: Low attendance this week, but you guys are the coolest! 1-1, so let's get this tie broken.
Oh dear, it does sound exhausting! I'm not confident I could handle either and whichever I choose I'd probably regret but I'll settle for someone very vain.
FW: This one was not pretty, was it? :) Two for Very Vain.
Now at 1-2, with Very Vain in the lead over Poor Self Image.
What do YOU think?
