The Sun is the Same

Time for some Choose and Defend Wednesday.  This week, you are off on a year long adventure! You will be a bit isolated, but oh, the things you will learn.  As always, you have a choice about where you will spend this challenging year.  As always, I will ask you to also defend that choice in comments.

    Well crap! I'd be terrified of going into space... so its off to that primitive society. Besides, which is scarier... using a space toilet or the bushes?

    Well, I hate the idea of being in space for a year. BUT I hear primitive society and I think inadequate medical care and possibly no rights at all for women. So given those things, I'm going to have to choose space.

    Hmm.... I guess primitive society because if I got really sick of it I could hitchhike out. Can't really do that in space. Plus I could improve their lives by me just being in it!

    Dmarks: It was hard for me! So? Did you decide?

    Everyone: So far it is 3-1 in favor of spending time in a Primitive Society. And Dmarks on the fence :-) Anyone else want to talk about their issues with isolation?
